Hot Take: the pose isn’t the whole point.
We’re often taught and conditioned to chase destinations.
To look for the end result.
To base our actions on the outcome.
To focus on only the big moments.
To only care about the “final pose!”
In yoga, this shows up as rushing the in-between, skipping the set-up and exiting without intention. (It sounds like: “OK, I nailed that pose. what’s next?”)
This practice is actually about in-between moments:
How do you get from pose to pose? How do you move into a pose? How do you handle the “smaller” moments?
The in-between is where you shine. It’s where your awareness sharpens. It’s where your strength is built.
It’s where real growth is revealed.
The in-between is where most of your life is happening.
Don’t skip it….train for it.
