Led by individual or a team of PPY instructors, workshops offer both an expanded and a more targeted view of your yoga practice. A hands-on, intimate setting affords students the opportunity to ask questions and receive more personalized instruction. Topics might include breath mechanics, pose progressions, and mindfulness and meditation—a chance to learn, play, explore. Rates vary. 

 

Backbends: Prep and Practice

With Alyssa Giacobbe and Severina Drunchilova. This workshop will teach you movements to help strengthen and mobilize the muscles you need to move, or move more deeply, into and through a variety of backbends. Whether you’re looking to improve your upward dog, understand the mechanics of camel or bow pose, feel better in your bridge, or (safely!) challenge yourself with scorpion, you’ll walk away with actionable tips to use both in class and on your own, all designed to help make backbends feel great in your body! All levels welcome.
