what are you training for?

“I want a good detox.”
“I’m working on my summer body.”
“VO2 maxxing…”
“Staying limber for life.”
“I want to be a better athlete.”

We feel you.

People walk through our doors for all kinds of reasons. Maybe you want to sweat. Maybe you want to get stronger, move better, run faster, touch your toes, or simply feel a little more at home in your body. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

But something tends to happen over time. Those reasons start to evolve.

Like all other good and worthwhile things in life, the “yoga” deepens. And the reasons that first brought you to your mat aren’t always the reasons you stay. Because eventually, you realize you’re training for more than what you can see in the mirror.

You begin to see that the practice is training you for LIFE. And it starts to sound more like:

“I’m training for when things don’t go my way.”
“I’m learning to pause before I shut down or lash out.”
“I’m building trust with myself and my body.”
“I’m practicing how to breathe through discomfort.”
“I’m learning to show up even when I don’t want to.”

So come for the sweat. The dopamine rush. The better biometrics.
And stay curious about what else you might be training for.
