5 things yoga taught me

When you first started practicing yoga, was it just about the poses? Carving 60 minutes out of your day for a workout? A good sweat? Or to remember to breathe?


Somewhere along the way though, yoga becomes MUCH more than what we originally came for.


Here are some of our biggest takeaways:

    1    My experience is 100% on me.
2 All I can do is my best. For today, and only today.
    3    Lighten up. Seriously.
    4    It’s never *just* about the workout.
    5    Comfort zones are where growth goes to die.
    6    The perfect pose won’t change my life. (My presence and mindset will, though.)
    7    I’m bigger than my preferences.
