This workshop is for all those who would like to improve their relationship to food, whether you have a moderate tendency to overeat, or you are struggling with being overweight or obese, have
bulimia, anorexia, or other issues related to eating mindfully.
Yoga means "union of mind and body." It is the disconnection of mind from body, and heart from body, that is at the heart of disordered eating. In this workshop we will begin to understand what
mindful eating is, cover the different kinds of hunger (mind hunger, mouth hunger and stomach hunger), explore our habits with food and incorporate strategies for mindful eating, including guided
exercises.
